Accepting these terms
Using Taxify means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
What Taxify is
A metering and record-keeping tool for a driver. It works out a fare from the rates you enter and the distance and time it measures. It does not find passengers, take payments or set prices.
Your rates are your responsibility
You choose what to charge, and you are responsible for it being lawful where you drive. Many places regulate taxi fares and require an approved or sealed meter. Check the rules that apply to you before charging a passenger with this app.
Accuracy
Distance comes from your phone's GPS, which drifts in tunnels, between tall buildings and on a weak signal. Taxify is provided as it is, with no guarantee that a fare, distance or time is exact.
Your account and your data
You are responsible for the phone and for keeping access to it. If you never add a recovery email and lose the device, the trips on it cannot be recovered.
Fair use
Do not reverse engineer the app, resell it, or use it to break the law.
Payment
Every fare is settled directly between you and the passenger. Taxify takes no commission and handles no money.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost earnings, disputed fares, fines, or any other loss arising from your use of the app.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend an account being used to abuse or attack the service.
Changes
These terms may change. Continuing to use the app after the date at the top means you accept the newer version.
